Within a chapter, he was hooked and instinctively knew that he would be able to help businesses grow more effectively and profitably with EOS. This interest resulted in Gene reading Gino Wickman’s book Traction®. While working for different leadership teams, Gene learned first-hand how different companies confront and struggle with all the components of business growth. Gene’s agency functioned as an outsourced marketing department for the majority of his clients. He successfully created a one store marketing test into a national franchise with 105 stores which was eventually sold to a public corporation for a profit. Simultaneously, Gene spent time developing advertising for his client companies.Īfter Gene sold his last two radio stations, he ventured out and started an advertising agency of his own. Gene and his colleagues hired, trained, fired, begged and borrowed ideas to help the stations prosper. Each new acquisition meant a new market with all the challenges of a new business. A majority of his work experience originated from his time spent at a family business buying losing radio stations and subsequently turning them into profitable businesses. He primarily focuses on helping independent businesses grow. Gene Moorhead has owned and managed seven businesses throughout his career - six of which have been successful. He is also the author of F*cking Argentina & 10 More Tales of Exasperation.Ĭlick here to purchase F*cking Argentina.
